2012 - A Start is Born!
Born and raised in Britain, Marco Holt is an emerging talent in the world of youth motorcycle racing, rapidly gaining recognition for his skill, speed, and dedication. His passion for racing began at a young age, and his commitment to the sport is evident through his numerous successes on the track.
2018 - Early Beginnings
Marco began his racing journey at the age of 6 in the Minimoto classes, a popular entry point for young riders. His early involvement in this foundational category, hosted by FAB-Racing, allowed him to develop essential racing skills, gain valuable track experience and build the confidence needed to progress through the ranks of British youth motorsport.
2020 – First Win & AC40 Rookies
Marco celebrated a key milestone in 2020 by securing his first race win at Rowrah Kart Circuit, a well-known venue for young talent in the UK. He soon attracted widespread attention during his time in the AC40 Rookies class, part of the FAB-Racing Championship, where he consistently impressed with his natural talent and racecraft.
2021 – MiniGP50 Vice Champion
Building on his early success, Marco stepped up to the MiniGP50 class in the FAB-Racing Championship. In 2021, he finished as Vice Champion, highlighting his rapid progress and technical skill.
He quickly proved himself a serious contender, taking a dominant Race 1 victory and delivering strong performances all season. Consistent podiums and wins put him in the championship lead. Highlights included a 42.841-second lap record at Lydd Circuit on wet tyres in dry conditions, and becoming the 50cc Lord of Lydden with the first-ever 50mph lap, showcasing his speed and control.
2022 - Breakthrough in Spain
In 2022, Marco raced in the prestigious Cuna de Campeones Series in Spain, one of Europe’s top talent development programs. He made history by becoming the youngest ever Moto5 race winner, claiming three victories and six podiums over the season, further cementing his reputation as one of the most exciting young prospects in European motorcycle racing.
2023 – Historic Double Champion
Marco's 2023 season was exceptional. Racing in both MiniGP50 and MiniGP70, he delivered a dominant campaign. In MiniGP70, he set five lap records and won the FAB-Racing British Championship.
Alongside his MiniGP50 title, this made him one of only two riders in FAB-Racing history to win both championships in the same year, an outstanding achievement that cemented his status among the UK's top young riders.
2024 - International Recognition
In 2024, Marco continued his ascent, competing in several prestigious championships and proving his competitiveness on both national and international stages. He secured 3rd place overall in the BMB British Mini Bikes Championship and raced in the Promo 3 Mirracing Cup for the Fineworks Mirracing Team, finishing 6th overall and earning the distinction of being the top-placed international rider.
A highlight of his season came during a spectacular race in which, after starting 18th on the grid, Marco charged through the field to take the lead and finished in 2nd place in a dramatic photo finish, a performance that showcased his fearless overtaking, strategic awareness, and tenacity under pressure.
2025 – Strong Results in Spain
In 2025, Marco took a major step onto the international stage by competing in Spain with the MIR Racing Finetwork Team in the ESBK Talent/Finetwork Cup. Racing against some of Europe’s strongest young riders, Marco gained valuable experience across circuits such as Jerez, Navarra, and Estoril, steadily improving his pace and racecraft throughout the season.
The year delivered strong results in the MIR Racing Cup Promo3 class, including a race win and multiple podium finishes, along with a strong run of consecutive podiums to close the season. Competing full-time in Spain marked a key progression in his career, establishing Marco as an emerging talent on the European stage.
2026 – The R&G Moto4 British Cup
Marco will compete in the 2026 R&G Moto4 British Cup, a highly competitive UK junior racing championship designed to develop young riders on equal machinery. The series is known for close racing and is a key step on the Road to MotoGP pathway.
The 2026 calendar runs across major circuits such as Oulton Park, Donington Park and Silverstone, with rounds often supporting British Superbike and MotoGP events. It gives Holt valuable exposure and a clear route toward higher international categories based on results and consistency.
